Varney A.. Kamara has over twelve years of driven experience working with the Ministry of Education Liberia in many different capacities. He served as Program Officer for Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) from 2009 to 2016. In 2017, he was appointed to serve as a Project Planning Officer in the Department of Planning, Research, and Development. In that role, he has assisted in the development of Projects, Programs, and many other educational initiatives. He also served as Program Coordinator at the Authentic International Group of Companies, an IT institution in the United States of America with a branch in Liberia.
Varney A. Kamara is a candidate for a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a major concentration in Project Management from Mount St. Mary’s University, USA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with an emphasis in Management from the African Methodist Episcopal University, and an MBA Certificate in Humanistic Leadership from the Humanistic Leadership Academy, USA. He is also a certified member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world’s leading association for those who consider project, program and portfolio management their profession, and upholds the Institute’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. He has trained over 50 professionals from diverse institutions and professional backgrounds in project management and proposal writing through the Gonet Academy Professional Certificate Program.
